Two days ago Apple announced a 'Rock and Roll' themed music event that shall be held on September 9th. Though the agenda for the event is still a secret to many, we can clearly make a guess that it will focus on the music-side of Apple, that being mainly some new announcements regarding the iPods.
But then again! since its Apple here we are talking about, most of everything that we know and speculate about is composed of nothing but wild guesses. Here we have compiled a list of rumors and predictions for the event, mostly related to the announcements.

iPods with Camera

Personally! we have no doubts on this one. There is enough evidence to confirm that Apple has plans to update the iPod Touch and Nano with support for a camera, which will add as a supplement to its already brilliant media features. 90% stakes on this.

iPod Touch 3rd Generation

The iPod Touch has been under the spotlight since its release and we believe it is, by far, the most complete media device ever offered to the masses and Apple would like to add more it, especially since the Zune HD is out in competition.
First rumor we have is that the iPod Touch might get a built-in microphone, which will make it a perfect VoIP device. Also there could a bigger and better version of the iPod Touch coming out, perhaps with a faster GPU with support for HD. And the rumor that we have our full stakes on is that Apple might increase the storage space of iPod Touch up to 64GB.

A new Apple TV

Most of the tech-community has their doubts on this one but if the estimate is right, Apple will be updating the Apple TV which will offer something new and interesting. The fact that Apple TV is a complete media device strengthens our belief about this rumor since the event is also media-themed.

iTunes 9 with Social Networks

No doubts on this one yet! iTunes 9 will definitely be making an appearance, with support for social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Last.fm.

Steve Jobs back on Stage

Now that our favorite keynote maker and the father of Apple Inc. is back at the campus, we are sure that we will be seeing more of him on stage again. After all, Apple is never the same without Steve Jobs.

The Apple Tablet

As much as we would like to believe that Apple has a tablet in store for us this September, we are sad to express that there might not be an announcement for this at all. Most would like to call it the iTablet or some may even know it as 'iProd' but Apple needs to save something for the WWDC '10 and this might as well be it.
